sample some Foley Bluegrass Band:

The Foley Bluegrass Band consists of
three sisters from Portales, New
Mexico. Band members include:
Courtney Foley is the oldest member of
the band. She loves to sing and play her
guitar, or try to play her mandolin or
sister's fiddle. Courtney graduated from
the family’s homeschool in 2007, and is
now attending college to major in
English - pursuing another love of hers:
writing. When asked what she plans to
do with her college education she
replied, “Pick my guitar and write books.”
Hillary Foley is the second oldest
member of the band, currently keeping
busy on her banjo and raising her
“horse” - a Great Dane otherwise known
as Linus. She has many talents,
including nearly all types of crafts:
crochet, knitting, painting, etc. Hillary
has finished her tenth grade year in the
family’s homeschool, and looking
forward to attending flight school or
veterinary school, or both.
Jordan Foley is the band’s youngest
member - until one or both of their other
siblings join in that is - but she holds
her own nicely on her bass. Jordan’s
ambition (other than to sing and play in
their bluegrass band) is to become a
luthier specializing in bass repair. Right
now she keeps busy cooking,
gardening, and helping her little brother
learn to read. She has also inspired
Courtney to write two songs, one of
which is on the CD. Jordan has
completed her eighth-grade year in the
family’s homeschool.
